Trade Adjustment Assistance The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program is a federal program that provides a path for employment growth and opportunity through aid to US workers who have lost their jobs as a result of foreign trade.     Soft Skills Training Job Endurance Training (JET) Job Endurance Training (JET) is a 12-hour interactive experience filled with engaging activities, role-playing opportunities, and meaningful, thought-provoking endeavors that is recognized by many employers in the Catawba region. JET is soft skills training that serves people of all cultures and backgrounds. The program was designed to be an “experience” rather than a traditional classroom training. Through JET, participants learn the skills of Communication, Integrity, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution and Time Management. All components can be customized to the audience. Delivery methods include group discussions, workplace simulations, technology-based learning, interactive multi-media, coaching and mentoring. All of the training sessions are able to be scaled to accommodate a wide variety of audiences. The program is a real-time conversation of work experiences with strategies for navigating today's work environment. It is open, honest, real and sometimes even challenging.
